questionswhat ssd drive should i buy for my macbook pro?

The Intel ones always have good reviews on Newegg. Just be sure to compare the speeds for read/write. They will vary and so will the price.

In my experience, Intel X-drives have been performing better than other brands than I have purchased (Transcend, Kingston) previously.

This is a good read on what to look for:

One problem with many SSDs is that the rated write speed goes down as the drive is used. As I understand it, the Intel SSDs do a good job of defragmenting on the fly so they don't slow down over time.

I've got a 160GB X25-M in my macbook and I'm very happy with it. If you can afford it the SLC (X25-E) parts are much much faster.
