Where does Eli stand now?
2 Superbowl wins puts him ahead of Peyton and Brees, tied with Roethlisberger, and 1 below Brady. Rivers with whom he's linked has never been to the Superbowl.
Is he one of the best of this era? Does he compare with other era's greats? Or is he the benefactor of luck and a strong overall team?

Payton and Brees are still better QBs. Giants are just a better team all around.
@captainsuperdawg: He has won two Super Bowls with arguably two completely different teams. Who is left from 2007?
He's got a good body of work. Yes, he's had good teams around him (on both sides of the ball), but does that count against him necessarily? Iguess it depends on if you believe good QBs seize the opportunities they have regardless of the circumstances. Eli has done pretty well there.
@coondogg97: I'm not saying he's not a good QB, nor am I saying that he contributed nothing to the Giants' successes. What I am saying is that the Giants didn't make it as far as they did because of just Eli. Personally, I think it's stupid to judge a quarterback on how many rings are on his finger. Dan Marino was a great who only went to one and lost it. Do you think Eli Manning is better than Marino? How about Warren Moon? He never won a Super Bowl. As to your question, it doesn't matter that he's working with a different team if they're still good.
I agree, ask Welker today if it's all about the QB. A TEAM wins a Super Bowl.
@captainsuperdawg: Psssst...it's Peyton, not Payton. Just sayin'. :)
