Challenge: Airfare to Thailand

Alright, my deal hunting friends: I need some help on this one. My sister is travelling to Thailand in February, and she's taken care of everything so far except the airfare. I'd like to surprise her with tickets for Christmas, so I'm hoping you guys can work your magic and help me find the best deal.

The details:

Departure date: February 2nd
Return date: February 22nd
Departing from: SEA
Returning from: BKK (Bangkok Int'l)

Searching for those exact dates only, the cheapest was $984 (Korea Air) with 2 stops (Vancouver, B.C./Seoul, Korea) on Kayak. I kept seeing Delta #295, one stop/same plane (Tokyo), for $1171.

You can find similar prices on nearly any travel site (Travelocity, PriceLine, Expedia) but I didn't find any coupons or special discounts.

I like using Farecast (now Bing Travel) because of their price predictor feature. Unfortunately, price predictor isn't available on flights from SEA to BKK, but like @skippykj said, $984 is the cheapest I was able to find.

Thanks, guys! This helps a lot, actually. Up until this point, the cheapest I could find was in the $1200 range, so a couple hundred bucks savings is pretty damn attractive. Really appreciate the effort!
