Why doesn't members dot woot work for all users any more?
A while back the link at the top of the page (when looking at a specific user) that used to point to the Members page vanished. I've still been going to the bother of typing it out by hand, such as:

Why is it that a particular account (such as the one I just pointed out) doesn't seem to even have a Members page? I want to see other activity, including whether an account has made purchases, because there are times when I might leap to assumptions about someone unfairly, and I prefer to do my due diligence before suggesting that an account is not all it seems to be.
I noticed yesterday (or perhaps the day before) that certain accounts no longer seem to exist over on members dot woot (including that one), and am wondering why that is. It seems to be linked to whether or not a user has ever made a purchase (as in, if they haven't, they don't show up).

I am hoping that this is some sort of transitory bug, and if so, then hopefully @shawnmiller or @josefresno would want to know of this anomaly.
If it isn't a bug, but deliberate, then perhaps @jumbowoot could offer an explanation as to why.
I consider this to be a useful tool, especially for someone (like me) prone to jump to unfair conclusions.
I wonder if the inability to view certain users has to do with when the accounts were created, since I note that I can see this one just fine

I hate anomalous behavior. I'll come back later to see if there have been any answers.
@shrdlu: Yours works. But why do you have a male wizard as your avatar? (at this resolution, I can't tell who it is)
@heymo: Yes, I know mine works. It worked on everyone I tried that had purchased things, and worked on older accounts that had not. The wizard is from the long ago times, and I made it as a bitmap, one crazy pixel at a time. I may have used a D&D image as a starting point, or perhaps an old pulp magazine cover. It's been my favorite icon for years and years, and hails from the days when I went out of my way to not really identify who I was, at all. It's also a play on:

So, now I can't vote at all. Again. I so wish this bug would get fixed, once and for all.

@faughtey: Aw, you're still broken. That makes me pretty sad to hear. I suspect that what was going on is that they were moving through the database of users with some change or other, and some of us caught the tidal wave of unpleasantness. It took more than three hours for mine to return, and I notice that people with shorter (or less) activity seemed to return to normal more quickly.
