Hah, 100° Fahrenheit today. I don't know what you're talking about. What is this "cold weather" you speak of?

vote-for12vote-against

Weather forecast indicates 102 degrees for here Monday!

LOVE IT!! Work in a school kitchen and will now be below 95.

vote-for7vote-against

It is 6:40 AM here. 72 degrees with 60 percent humidity. Once the sun rises, expected high of 90, and most likely in the 90s for humidity, meaning it will feel over 100.
So... cold weather? I dream of it as my AC is on 24/7 and I sleep without sheets. :p

I am hoping this year, if we are all good boys and girls, we might break 60.

@ 0545, it was 56 here in Northern Florida with humidity hovering right around 60%. Back when I ran in the pre-dawn hours before work, I lived for the first cool mornings of early fall. It was especially nice when the skies were clear and the moon hadn't dropped below the horizon. I miss those zen runs.

I can't wait until it's sleep-with-the-windows-open time!

I've always been a huge fan of cold weather over hot. Now I am trying to calm my flaring nerves which are feeling the reality of the imending doom, which is about to emerge within the next month: Brazilian summer. Aaaaaaughhh I'm going to melt like a popsicle on heated black tar! On top of that, everyone here is talking about how they can't wait for the humidity (the love it! NAAAAOOOOO!!!)

I generally do like cold weather, but seeing as it's been consistently above 80 in my house for the past three or four months, this sudden drop is a little bit of an adjustment. Once I get used to it, I'll love it. But being cold and on the tail end of a horrific allergy attack dont mix well

We've had frost the last two mornings. That's a bit of a change.
It was 37 when I left for work, but it's expected to get back up to about 70 this afternoon.
This time of year is tough to dress for -- also seems to be the time that people lose jackets because you don't need them in the afternoon.
Overall, Fall is probably my favorite time of the year -- love the changing of the seasons!

The way I manage to remember my jacket in the heat of the afternoon is to leave my car keys in the pocket. Otherwise, I'm scrambling for another jacket the next morning. As a baker, I long for the cool weather. More work hours as the prep for holidays gear up. I'll start on the gingerbread display piece next week. The fruit and nut mix for stollen will be made tomorrow. I love Fall!

I'm down with cold weather, cuddly cats, and large blankets. BRING IT.

I am excited that boots and sweater weather is near. But I am also sad as it means winter is closer as well.

vote-for3vote-against

Frankly.. no.. I love summer...

vote-for3vote-against

You can always put on more blankets. You can only take off so many clothes. WINTER IS COMING!!

autumn is the best season!

still hot here in the sunshine state :/

It's been down into the 70s at night this week and several days didn't break 90. Perfect weather in my book. I hate the cold, that's why I live in the desert. Sometimes the summer is more intense than I would like, but I wouldn't trade it for a northern winter for anything.

My answer is so similar to the Fall question.

Not sad that Fall is here, I live in Central FL. Despise cold weather, so not looking forward to a possible freeze here. Yes, it does freeze in Florida! Fortunately, it doesn't freeze very often where I live. And some years not at all. Should clarify "cold weather" to me is anything below 70. ;-)

Am hoping that my miniature banana trees provide fruit this year. Calla Lilies blooming. Everything is still green, even trees that lose their leaves. AC still going full blast. An aside: It costs as much in the colder months to heat my house as it does to cool it in the hot months. No break there - all electric.

I'll be pleased to see Autumn when it gets here. Still 85-90° days and around 60-70° nights here.

Cider and Donuts. Sweatshirt weather. Football. 'nuff said ;)

I love the colder weather, but you can keep the ice and snow!

vote-for2vote-against

Once the snow falls and the outdoor rinks are ready, I'll be happier.

@gmwhit:

I'm here on the space coast -- it's 8 pm, and 27 degrees Celsius -- 80-ish US units. I remember watching on television with my mother a movie where someone kept walking around saying "the calla lilies are in bloom." LOL, if I ever see it again, I will know it is mid-October.

@annierose: :-D Yes! Hello, neighbor. It's 81 degrees here in Central Florida. (8:20PM EST). Lovely. Will probably drop to 65 +- tonight. An aside: Once again, I do feel sorry for those who are in cold climates & don't like cold weather. Hope you can move, if possible. Those who love it - good for you, too!
