Can someone help me with a problem backing up a game app?
On my Asus Transformer. I thinks it's a TF101 with Honeycomb but I am not sure and I don't know how to ask it. The game I am having trouble with is Fish Farm. When I try to back it up I get 500: Internal Server Error. Some game elements require a successful backup (I guess they want to stress the importance of backup) and I am barred from them by this problem. I have googled around for a solution and find nothing. I thought maybe someone in the community would know. BTW, I really like this "game" although it's more of a project than a game. But the graphics are beautiful and I like having a live wallpaper that I more or less created myself, choosing the background and decorations and not just selecting the fish but actually "breeding them and raising them from babies". It's free on Amazon right now if anyone's interested.
Could be an issue on the app developer's end. Have you tried contacting them?
It appears to be a company called BITBROS INC, but all I can find out about them is that they are located in Sarasota. FL, from their corporation wiki. They don;t seem to have a web presence. It looks like Fish Farm is their only app, on Amazon at least. Most search links just go back to the game on Amazon or ITunes. They are really new, they just filed as a business in June of 2012. I hope they have other apps of this quality on offer in the future.
I asked here because I thought maybe this was a common app error that people encountered and had an easy solution for. If it's something game specific then I will just live with it. I did include mention of the problem in my Amazon review with a link to get replies via email, so maybe they are reading their reviews and will reply.
Here's a bit of info on the error you're getting:

How To Fix the 500 Internal Server Error
The 500 Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem is not with your computer or Internet connection but instead is a problem with the web site's server.
Even though the issue is not yours to fix, there are some things you can try:
Reload the web page. You can do that by clicking the refresh/reload button, pressing F5, or trying the URL from the address bar again.
Even though the 500 Internal Server Error is reporting a general error on the web site's servers and not your computer, the server error may only be temporary. Trying the page again will often be successful."

It might be that a file you're trying to back up is not downloading correctly from the website. Hope you can get it backed up correctly. Good Luck!
