What's up with wine woot notifications for shipping?
In the spirit of asking here, rather than over on Wooterville, since the answers are better, I'm trying to understand what's up with the notification system that things have shipped. The last two times I've purchased wine, it's been a SURPRISE! phone call the night before, making sure an adult is going to be home. On one of those occasions, I never did get a notification that it had shipped. On the other, I got it two days after I received it.
I bought some wine during the wootoff (Feb 24), and no matter how you count it, it's been way more than five business days. There's nothing on the forums that I could see. I realize it's tempting to ask me if I'm sure that I didn't miss it in my spam folder, but please trust me on this, I'm pretty sure that I'd have noticed.
Besides, it doesn't show a shipping on the My Account thing over on Wine Woot either. Neither. At all.
