Did you get any good post Christmas clearance deals?
The only place I went was our local Lowes. They had some decent stuff for really good prices, but I didn't need anything so I passed.
Did you take advantage and score any good deals?

Christmas is not very big in Japan except with us gaijin. The Japanese people like the lights and Santa-san, but they do not celebrate at all like we do in the states. No big sales before or after Christmas not even on Christmas stuff.
I found post holiday deals to be rather meh. Hopefully some other wooters got lucky and got some awesome stuff at great prices.

I did what I do almost every year--went to Target and stocked up on stuff I could use, like cups and bowls, that had a holiday theme and were being sold for 50% off. I also got a cat toy from the holiday section for 1/2 off. Nothing very interesting, I know. . .
I just stocked up at that Barnes and Noble sale yesterday. All of the books I got were either a genre that I enjoy with good reviews or had my eye on but just waiting for the price to drop. All of the ones I bought were a significant discount even from Amazon (nothing less than 50% off Amazon price) so I feel good about it.
I have a problem with books though, since Black Friday I've ordered 182 books. I'm done now and this should last me through til next Black Friday and the cycle will start again. I also REALLY enjoy reading, so even with most of the books being over 300 pages I can knock out a book every couple days.
