Have a wonderful trip. Going to Seattle to visit my daughter.

I'm going to spend 2.5 months in the Appalachain mountains watching birds for an internship. The funny thing is that I would probably plan a similar shorter vacation doing the exact same thing. I really get to have my cake and eat it too this summer.

No real big plans, but hopefully lots of fishing and camping and enjoying nature. I'm looking forward to a quiet and relaxing summer.

@klozitshoper: may you be blessed with good weather. the last 2 summers in seattle have been utterly worthless. however, spring has been fairly nice this year, so here's hoping that summer will continue that trend!

5 weeks in Japan to visit my wife's family at the end of next month! That's the awesomely exciting part (including hiking Mt. Fuji!). The not so awesome part is moving across the US

Going to the Outer Banks with family & cousins, and taking time off in July for a staycation because my sister and her family are coming up for a week from SC. Otherwise just taking days here and there off to burn up my vacation time.

Have fun seeing your family and enjoy Disneyland and Vegas!

I'll be spending a long weekend visiting friends in Mississippi in June. In July I'm going on a mission trip with my church to work with an outreach to the Hispanic community in south Tucson, AZ. Later in July I'm working half days so that I can help out with vacation Bible school at my church (first year to do that all week, should be fun). I'll probably do an extended weekend trip to visit family sometime in the late summer. So that's my trips.

I've got some other fun activities planned, an evening of whirly ball for my birthday in July, building a giant block sculpture at the science museum with a couple of friends during Memorial Day weekend and possibly something else over Labor Day weekend. There's talk of trying to get someone to teach some of us all about curling (the sport, on ice), a day trip to Ikea and all points in North East Dallas, hanging out with my favorite preschoolers at the zoo or the Lego Discovery center in Grapevine. Oh, and there's that work thing too.

This July will be my first trip to Comic-Con. I've been looking forward to it all year!
