What was your last "undeal"?
No matter how careful I am at pinching pennies, from time to time I get stuck paying more for something than I think is reasonable because I have to have it right now. Last night was my most recent "undeal". I normally buy my dog food online, $44 per 30lb bag with free shipping. When he is half done with the current bag I order another. But this last one that came was recalled, it's too late to order another online and I have to wait for a replacement certificate from the company. So I had to buy locally, which was already expensive, $48 plus tax for the same bag. But when I got to the only store within 15 miles that carries it they were out of the 30lb bags, so I had to pay over $30 for a 15lb bag. I felt very robbed.
(I know some people will probably have sticker shock at even $44 for a 30lb bag of dog food, but my dog has food tolerance issues and this is the only food that doesn't make him sick.)
I absolutely hate buying cat litter at the local grocery store. . . it's horribly overpriced, but I'm not home to have it delivered and I live far enough away from the big box stores that it's not a possibility.
That, and the $3 I just spent at a snack bar for carbonated water and two peaches.
Buying a soda in the lobby of a big hotel that I was taking a recertification test at. It cost almost 4 bucks.
