How about Wily? It's almost the same as sneaky, and obviously he was if he avoided capture so long.

Or Ninja. I think the name might fit him too.

Good luck, and have fun with your new foster kitty :)

Billy the Kit-ty or Black Bart could fit with your outlaw-themed name.
Or you could just name him Foster -- that's what I did with mine when he came to me with a ridiculous name. He seems to like it well enough, and I feel somewhat less pathetic calling him that :)

Grats on your new foster kitty! We look forward to seeing pictures soon! (Maybe we can find a permanent home for him!)

Also, good for you for fostering a kitty. :)

Spot.

Among all the other nonsense goings on in my house, I managed to acquire two cats: Whisker Tango Foxtrot (a.k.a. Foxes or Fats) and Frank. Frank's not sure if he is a dog or a cat. Foxes is sure I cannot handle bathroom duties all by myself. Ever.

It doesn't matter what you name him. He'll come to you when he's good and ready.

Thanks for your great ideas. I'll test them out on him tonight!

He will let you know what his name is. Give him a few days. In the meantime, something generic (eg "kitten") will work pretty well.

Biscuit.

OP will surely deliver.

Beers (or beer). ("Because Foster's is Austrainian for Beer.")

Well, after extensive testing of all these names and more, the only one that the kitten and my husband could agree on was Geronimo. He calls him "Mo" in a goofy voice. I say Geroonimooooo! as the kitten makes daring leaps off of furniture. It seems to fit. :) Ninja was a close second! Thanks again for the ideas. It was fun reading what you all came up with.

@inkycatz: Thank you. I can't post pictures until we know he'll be available for adoption. Unfortunately he's a little sickly. We tested him for panleukopenia which is a very deadly disease for kittens. Thankfully it came out negative but the vet said that there's a slight chance he might have that disease but it was too early for a positive test. Hopefully that's not the case! We're now treating him for parasites because that might be what's causing his symptoms.
I'm just worried because he's not as active as I would imagine a six week old kitten should be. That could be from being sick or just from stress being in a new environment. Time will tell.
The good news is, he's already acting less feral. He doesn't hiss at us anymore and purrs when we pet him. :) Keep your fingers crossed that he just had an upset tummy and that he improves over the weekend!

@tippypaws: Will do! It sounds like Mo is in very good hands! =^.^=

That's cute though! I hope little Mo starts feeling better soon!
