I own one pair. I have one shirt that requires cuff links, a fancy smancy shirt that I wear about once a year to a formal party or the like...

Never worn them. Frankly, they look very confusing and I wouldn't know where to start getting them on. I have a hard enough time buttoning my shirt sleeves as it is...

I occasionally will buy cuff links because my husband wears them occasionally for work and my sons will wear them if they put on a suit (which is not very often). My husband wears more formal ones, but does sometimes use the novelty ones (depending on the client), while my sons really like the novelty ones best.

I've still got a couple sets.
Ironically, I no longer own any long sleeved shirts. Not for a few decades.

i think they look cool and i upvote them if they're a few bucks like meritline has sometimes. i'm not sure how practical they are but i'd like to think someone somewhere is happy with their batman cufflinks. at the least they're conversation starters

Only when I have to wear a tux. Which has only happened once when my best friend got married and he wanted me on his side of the wedding party. The tux was way better than the dresses. Caused quite a stir. Yep, I'd probably do it again.

I once accidentially bought a shirt with French cuffs. Rather than return it, I bought a set of cuff links. I still only have the one pair and wear them on any occasion where I need to dress with a coat and tie.

I had to when I was in the military, in my dress uniform...I only wear them with tuxes now.

I don't have cuff links, but if I did, I would get these: http://adafruit.com/icufflinks

most people who get the cufflinks get them because they are collectors of that design. (garfield rules at my house). but also a lot of ladies wear them as scarf tacks or as jewlery on purses, shoes, jackets, etc to make a statement (think ncis abby)
