Would you use a Micro SD card with adapter all the time if it was cheaper than a regular SD card?
or do you feel that is 'ghetto' to use the adapter full time (like in a camera, etc)?

I can use a microSD card anywhere, with an adapter (camera and computer) or a usb drive adapter (car and computer). The same can't be said of a full size card, which won't fit in my phone or my car stereo.
They're more versatile, so they're all I have.
@rprebel: i am 50/50, i have some microSD cards and some SD cards, but someone looked at me crazy one time i took the microSD card with adapter out of my camera and asked me if I actually use that all the time. performance isn't compromised so I figured the woot community would be a good place to see if I was the only one...
Electrically, a microSD in an adaptor and a full-size SD are the same (or nominally so), yet the microSD with adaptor is much more versatile.
As to whether or not it is "ghetto," I cannot say. It is certainly more intelligent, especially if it is less expensive.
I don't have any full-size SD cards. I think my daughter has one.
I've often wondered if there was any performance difference, but I've used the same 2gb card for my camera ever since I got it four years ago, and I haven't bought any SD cards, micro or otherwise, in the meantime. The only things that I use that need them came with full size cards, and I haven't been able to convince myself to buy any even at the ridiculously good prices they're at now.
I don't see any reason not to. An SD card is an SD card.
