Will it be a White Christmas in your region?
So the weather forecast is out, will you get snow on the ground for Christmas? Looks like several feet coming into the Tahoe Region this weekend and there is sure to be snow on the ground for Christmas. I really think it does add a lot to the mood around town and makes it really feel like Christmas. Are you expected to get a blanket before the holiday?
There will definitely not be any snow on the ground. Although it has been quite cold the past few days for our desert region the sun has been shining. There's a very small chance of snow flurries, but the ground will be much too warm for them to survive contact. While I'd love to have some actual snow for Christmas, the city where I live is poorly suited to it and the people who live here are not equipped to drive in it. Last year we had a beautiful white Christmas and I ended up having to cancel several holiday parties because my friends were afraid to drive across town in the snow. So I'll trade a white Christmas for the companionship of my friends..
We've got about a foot. Got the worst of the weather yesterday, so the roads are relatively decent today, and the snow looks pretty when we don't have to fight with it.
Happy to see it until about mid-January, then it can go away!
While I would love a white Christmas, I hope not. Lower Alabama isn't a place to look for a white Christmas.
Nope. I'm suffering in summer right now :)
There is snow on the ground here, there have been various forms of precipitation the entire week including more snow today.
The sun is forecast to make a cameo appearance tomorrow.
Muddy Christmas here in northern California.
As of now we have a 40% chance in western AR.
