The free kind. Where's all the deals for free cheesecake?? Come on people, It's National Cheesecake Day for cryin' out loud! National Donut Day would never pull a stunt like this.

I've never met a slice of cheesecake that I didn't like (that didn't have nuts). I one had a cinnamon bun cheesecake, though, that I thought was amazing. That one sticks out in my memory.

I'm a big fan of the fruit toppings. Raspberry and blueberry, particularly :)

I see that the Cheesecake factory is offering half off. Not free, but still pretty good. Their ghirardelli chocolate cheesecake is one of my favorites.

@adam113089: They also have some new Oreo cheesecake they are debuting today. I've been salivating over it in the ads I've seen.

Normally I like anything with dark chocolate but when it comes down to it, my favorite is plain NY cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and cherry topping.

"key lime" takes the... nevermind.

I'm fond of the "regular" cheesecake - nothing fancy inside. I tend to prefer the dryer cheesecakes over the moister ones. Raspberry sauce is my preferred topping though cherries and chocolate are each good too.

Anyone remember when Arby's used to have cheesecake? It was made by Eli's, if I recall correctly... Sold as individual slices.

Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro has a Dulce de Leche cheesecake (with a big praline decorating the top) that I would cheerfully select as my last meal.

As noted, anything free, but my fav is cheesecake with cherry's (like cherry pie, not the other stuff) on top!

Nearly anything from Cheesecake Factory. I've had over half of them. The Tuxedo Cream was my favorite in the beginning. But then I decided to broaden my horizons and try something new every time I go. I can now say that the Tuxedo Cream is sharing the crown with several others. And 2nd place is shared amongst the rest.

Cherry. Made just right. Got the munchies now, need to find some.

Apple crisp. Leaves more cheesecake for the rest of you ; )

Plain cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. No toppings.

German Cheesecake, hands down.

It is lighter & fluffier than the NYC version.
It's got a hint of lemon, and if made properly, includes quark, not Philadelphia Cream cheese. Whole different ball game. Soooooooo gooooood!

A respectible 2nd place goes to NY Cheesecake from Venieros on E11th in Manhattan. Any version there.
