Blow up Race Car with ghosts in it on the front lawn, plus a 4ft pumpkin fillied with orange lights.
Then we do cornstalks, hay and other pumpkins around the house.

I'm a curmudgeon I don't deccorate for any holiday.

We don't decorate outside, but we definitely have the inside of the house decorated. I love the vintage Halloween decorations.

Halloween used to be my favorite holiday. But while I am in a second floor apartment, there isn't much I can do. I have thought of putting a manikin in a rocking chair by the front window and back-lighting it to emulate the Bates house, but I can't do much else.

We'll have a pumpkin or two that we carve and maybe some other Fall decorations, but not true "scary" Halloween stuff...
The neighbors across the street seem to have that covered. They've been setting stuff out over the last few days -- they just put up a couple of inflatables yesterday as well.

I would say I decorate more for fall than Halloween outside. I put out a pumpkin and some mums on the front porch and a wreath on the front door that has fall colors and a jack-o-latern in the middle. Inside I decorate for both Halloween and fall. I don't get hardly any trick-or-treaters, I have a long driveway and the houses in my neighborhood are spread apart. Down the road a bit is a townhouse development and they get hit hard, people are too lazy to come down where I live.

I don't decorate per se, but I usually put out some themed knick knacks that I brought with me when I moved after college (my mom used to send them to me in care packages, awwwww). This year since I'm not traveling over Halloween / Thanksgiving, I might go get some pumpkins and mums to put out on the balcony.

Yes, and that reminds me that it's time to get the big inflatable pumpkin out of the basement and into the yard.

We also put up a small motion-activated decoration by the front door. Even worse than the unexpected movement is the creepy sound it makes -- scares the heck out of everyone who doesn't know about it.

Yeah. Well, we do decorating for Fall, then for Halloween we just throw up some Halloween specific stuff mixed in. We used to do more than we do now, but since our daughter is a little older now and doesn't care much about Halloween, we don't go all out anymore. Which is fine by me, since I always hated all the new things being purchased every year, then having to be stored :-)

We decorate for the seasons, we have our Indian corn, bail of hay, and pumpkins out. As far as just holloween goes, not really.

I like to throw a few shamrocks, bunnies, and flags out. Keep 'em guessing.

We don't have any trick-or-treaters, so don't see it being worth the effort and expense. Also I don't see decorating for one day. And before anyone brings up Christmas, I see Christmas as a season, not a day. I decorate inside for that.

I put up a bunch of stuff. Sometimes scare kids. We get about 200 kids every year so its very fun by my house.

This was last year:

And I'll be starting to put it up this week. I like to put stuff out in stages... and someday my yard will be a graveyard... someday.

Inside is fun all on it's own. There's a motion activated skull hanging in my downstairs bathroom that yells at you when you turn on/off the lights, "HEY! Where do you think you're going? Get back here!" and proceeds to sing, "I ain't got no boooooodddddyyyy, nobody..."
And other things scattered throughout waiting for the Halloween party...

I don't do much because I live inside a secure building, but I I'm more of a fall decorator, which is to say I get a couple of pumpkins, am more inclined to drink the morning java out of the cauldron shaped mug, and call it good.

Wow @thumperchick that looks awesome! :)

@inkycatz: Thanks! That reaper on the door lights up and screams at you when you knock, too. Muahahahahahaa cough hahahaha!

@thumperchick: EXCELLENT.

I love going around the various neighborhoods to see how well they decorate. :) Not having a house of my own, it's the best I can do on that front.

I want to! This is our first Halloween in our own home, so I've been stalking around the seasonal section of Hobby Lobby eyeing my decorating options.

vote-for5vote-against

Not really. Maybe a few things put out on Halloween day, but otherwise, nope.

vote-for5vote-against

No. But my wife does, so as of yesterday, the place was all done up.

vote-for3vote-against

No, I'm of the "Get off my lawn!" variety.

vote-for2vote-against

I use to decorate, but not anymore-I just don't have enough time.

I have a few witches and pumpkins I keep out year round because I like them. I do not do anything outside because the kids (of all ages) would destroy anything I put out. I would like to go all out inside but I do not think it will happen this year.
