What should I buy with Subscribe & Save on Amazon?
Right now I only buy cat food - and I figure there are probably quite a few other things I could be saving money and time buy using the service for. I've browsed a few times, but am wondering what other people use it for.
@cornellbigred: OOH! that looks awesome - and only 1 WW point each :) I am definitely going to try it out.
I used to use it for a lot of items but they've raised most of the prices in the last 6 months. Lately nothing on my S&S list is cheaper than I can get it for locally.
Prices are going up but some stuff is still cheaper. These Freeze dried fruits are fantastic. I love the pear and also the cinnamon apple.
@cornellbigred: Stretch Island fruit leathers are the best! The Kettle Valley used to be my go-to fruit when my kids were younger because they are softer and easier for smaller kids to eat -- not as tough leathery. But they've discontinued those off the Subscribe N Save, and you can only get them for obscene prices. $1.50 a strip?! Don't think so!
If you like the softer fruit, try the Clif Kids Twisted Fruit ropes. They are tart, but that's what the kids like.
I also have friends who rave about the gluten/allergy free offerings on Amazon.
Popchips are usually a good buy with S&S.
@minkeygirl7: oh I do like those. Maybe I will alternate them with the fruit leathers - every couple of months!
I get paper towels from Amazon and am making a list as to how long it takes to go through a case. Will probably do the S&S with those. Also with coffee. Have trouble finding Eight O'clock decaf. It's just easier and cheaper. And I'm considering toilet tissue, too.
Razor blades. One of the few things that make sense: they are priced below Costco or WalMart, they ship well, and you know more or less when you are going to need them.
@pooflady: Hmm I will have to check that out. I usually get that sort of stuff at BJs - I should price check.
Olive oil. You have to search a little, as not all brands offer subscribe and save. But you save 15% (currently, at least) on the ones that do.
I just signed up for vegan multivitamins. I just looked at the bottle of vitamins I get from the drug store here, and they contain fish oils. I'm allergic to fish and so this might account for the icky feeling I always get after taking vitamins. $5.09 for a three month supply isn't bad.
