Writing a book; any good sites for writing newbies?
As I start to get more and more in debt I've decided that I needed a second job. Since most places aren't hiring around here, I need something that I can do with all of my free time that would earn me some money, which is when I came across a blog about a guy who makes some money (about $1000 a month for two books) selling books on Amazon's Kindle service.
I've got my book idea, and I've started writing, I just need some help in a few ways. Does anyone have any sites that are good at helping new writers? I just don't want to write a book and then end up not selling anything.
Thanks in advance guys =D

smashwords.com - my dad just finished his first book and this site was a HUGE help - good luck!!
For a different kind of help, Stephen King's On Writing is rather good. (Even if you're not planning on writing a novel)
@iggz: Original
@holymythos: lol, always.
@gretchena: I downloaded maybe 60 free books the other day from smashwords. It's really a great site for new authors to get some feedback/higher profile.
