Has anyone had an experience warrentying products from Columbia Sports Wear?

I had a two or three year old fleece's zipper break, so I called them. I had to pay the initial shipping but they fix it or (as in my case) replace the entire item for all outer wear, lifetime. Anyone else have any experience with this?

I have never purchased from them, but it sounds like they have super CS.

My husband had a winter coat from Columbia. The zipper broke when it was probably 5-6 years old. He called the company and asked if they would fix it. They said to send it to them and it would be taken care of. In a week or two a brand new coat similar to the old one arrived. Great customer service.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
