Is anyone going to the 24 hour thing at a Disney park next month?
I wasn't going to, but a couple of friends have asked me to, so I just made reservations at a local hotel and I'm going! Leaving husband at home. I'll probably be fast asleep on the Fred Gurley at 9:30 Wednesday night. I'm excited!

I am not normally a Pixie dust person (someone who really likes Disney) But this sounds like fun, 24 hrs of rides and shows!!
Tempting. Very tempting. Bet around 4 am or so there won't be any lines.
i'd go if i lived closeby. i'd be sure to pack some caffeine pills to mix into my energy drinks or something lol. sounds like tons of fun :)
We would love to go, but it is not in the cards. But to be in the Magic Kingdom at 3 or 4 am would be incredible.
Be sure to check out the new queue at the Haunted Mansion. Pretty cool stuff. Also if you care the Snow White attraction is going to be closing for good in June. It is an old ride that is years past its prime, but still interesting to see what an original attraction looked like. You still have Carousel Of Progress, but that attraction is timeless! I am sure you are aware if you are a local, but a quarter of the park is still closed due to the expansion of Fantasy Land. So the rest of the park will be a little more congested.
And if you need a nap you can head over to the People Mover in Tomorrowland. They will let you ride that all day and it is the perfect slow, quiet attraction for a nap (until you go through Space Mountain)!
Oh, and avoid Stitches Great Escape at all cost! Absolutely horrendous attraction!
Have fun! As you can tell I am jealous!
We're going to Disneyland in Anaheim. Well, not my husband, I'm driving up to a friend's who lives in Rancho Cucamonga tomorrow afternoon, then we're still on the fence about going at ten that night or the next morning. We really want one of the special Mickey ears they've got. Their website said they're only giving out two thousand and that's at six Wednesday morning when the park opens. That sucks.
Check in isn't until four at our hotel (we're staying two nights), so we might be snoozing in the car at some point. I'm bringing lots of Zipfizz.
I'm getting excited. The last time I drove up to Disneyland by myself, ten minutes from home someone pulled into my lane, cut me off and I lost control and rolled my car down a hill (it was totaled). I hope this time goes a little more smoothly. laughing
