this is news to me. an email notifying of changes would have been nice

EDIT: I just tossed a random video game (but prime eligible) into my cart and it is still $3.99 for next day ($8.99 for Saturday)

@natedogg828: Yes, it would have. I ended up buying the TV at Newegg with Shoprunner.

Amazon never informs us of major changes. The biggest one was when the changed all Subscribe and Saves to ship on the same date. Before that you could get delivery whenever you wanted and if you needed extra you got it at the Subscribe and Save price with free shipping.

They will tell you it's to save money. Fine but tell us.

It says:

They have never committed to any costs except free 2 day shipping. They seem to have fun playing with the costs of everything else to see what people are willing to pay.

@kamikaze2007: Thanks for the link. I just messaged them, and that's what I got in the reply, but, honestly, I didn't see the $2.99 playing around Friday with different items.

@falken: I concur. That seems to be the normal for a lot of companies this year. Oh well. Guess I will have to stick to 2 day shippping.

@everyone: Thanks! Hope you had a great weekend.

I miss the 15% savings on Subscribe 'n Save. Now it is a measly 5%. No longer worth it. Compromise is now that they have consolidated all your SnS items into one monthly shipment, you can get the 15% again by subscribing to 5 or more things.

I wonder how long I will get to keep my 15% because I've had my subscriptions so long. Apparently I'm grandfathered.

I just bought a gift yesterday and it was only $3.99 to send with one day shipping to him.

@bnbsouthworth: I miss it too, and haven't added anything since they changed the S&S. I still get my coffee and tea, and my daughter has snack stuff on my S&S, but it is still at the 15%. If I have to order coffee before its time to ship, I just buy it elsewhere now. Lots of changes, but none for the good.

@natedogg828: It came up as the eight dollars for me. So it seems to be hit or miss?
