Have you noticed that Woot is rickrolling Amazon?

At the bottom of the Amazon.com homepage, where all of Amazon's subsidiaries are listed, Woot has an interesting slogan. Had anyone else noticed this?

That happened shortly after the acquisition. If you were referred to Woot.com via Amazon, it would autoplay the video where the podcast appeared for quite awhile. So, yeah, we were literally rickrolling any customer that came in via Amazon.

@gluonconcerto: if I have the laptop near the phone, I just set the phone down on top and let 'er "Rick." I've had telemarketers actually hang on the line and listen.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
