Remove how? You can use the Tattle button (it's down in the right hand corner, if you move your mouse over it, you'll be able to see it), and staff will place a tombstone on it.
They like it if you let them know that something has expired.
When you use the Tattle button, please note that the pulldown menu even has an expired option on it.
You have a 5 minute window after posting in which you can choose to delete your thread. To find the "delete" button, see below.
But I assume, based on the "soldout" tag, that you posted it a while ago and it has since sold out.
Hover over the deal and you will see the word "Tattle" appear at the bottom right.
Click that.
From the drop down, select "Expired".
Click "Submit".
That's it. An email will be sent off to woot staff and they'll place a "RIP" tombstone on the deal, indicating to other users that it's no longer available.
If the deal is just sold out you can tattle that it is expired. Deals are usually only removed if they are duplicates.
Seeing that the last deal you posted was 8 days ago I am going to guess that one of your deals is NOT a new deal just posted. So follw @anotherhiggins advice.
@anotherhiggins: Hah! I can outtype you any day of the week, bub. You too, @hobbit.
[Edit] I see that the comment bug is back, big time, and I think that there's a problem with voting, too. @shawnmiller @josefresno You could have a server headed south on a speeding bullet.
[Edit again] @hobbit: I did too, but I did it in another window. I was actually trying to beat everyone else (since you and I often seem to have dueling answers).
Boy, does this question ever make the point about flickering buttons that we've been talking about with @jumbowoot in the other questions.
@shrdlu: I was researching the OP's deals.
@slabraham: Let us know if you find the tattle link! and emailing woot isn't a really good idea.
@anotherhiggins: Actually, I liked your reply the very best. In this case, I was trying to type faster than the invisible @hobbit on the other coast, and entertaining myself mightily by doing so. Beating you too was just icing on the cake. :-D
I can't type fast at all. I still look at the keyboard when I type and sometimes my fingers jam up against each other, much like typewriter hammers.
umm...
What's the deal?
@jumbowoot: I would hazard to guess it is all the old ones that were posted from the OP's business at tonerworld. ;-)
Hey, some of the new questions/deals are really BROKEN. You can see that they have comments, you can even make comments, but you can't SEE the comments.
