What price range are you looking for? I'm finding large clocks, but most of them are not very attractive.

Edit to add I found some on eBay:

Not much in the budget unfortunately. Probably under $100. Thanks for the help!

I found a great one at Bed Bath & Beyond on sale/clearance for $50 (don't quote me), plus the ubiquitous 20% off. I think it's aound 36", possibly slightly smaller. But, it has a moving pendulum thing that I think is cool :)

@faughtey: So what you're saying price isn't the issue but taste?

I found one at goodwill. It was still in the original box. The near by shoppinmall had a store that dropped of a couple that the wood around the outside was scratched. I took it home and touched it up and looks brand new now. It was like $140 in the store, I think I gave about $25 for it.

I would check thrift shops near you.

@mtm2: I didn't like any I saw on eBay, but provided the asked for list of clocks for less than $100.00.

Thanks for the pointers, got a few more places to look at. I was getting bleary eyed going through pages and pages of google and amazon.

I got one several years ago from a home store that was having a going out of business sale. It's over 3' in diameter, but all lightweight. I like that feature since it's easier to take it down, replace the battery, and rehang it. I paid ~$80 which I believe was at least 50% of not 75% off of the posted price when I initially spotted it before the sale.

You might check local smaller home stores that are clearing out inventory.

@faughtey: Understood. Not unusual for me to be shopping for something and basically think most of the stuff on the market sucks. There be some ugly stuff out there.

Both my local WalMart and Target had HUGE lightweight wall clocks at reasonable prices when I strolled through their aisles last week. Might try looking on line to get an idea of what is available to you locally.

A little later, but I thought I'd share in case you were still looking.

There's 2 style options here that didn't look so gaudy, but they're 24" diameter faces:
