My roommate Tommy is always singing about this number.

Don't you lose that number.

No, and I'm sure the wife wants it that way.

I would hate to have that number, I wonder how many prank calls they get asking for Jenny? That must get old! haha

I think a public school (maybe in North Carolina) had that number when the song came out.

I'm not like the others even though you think I might be. You give me something I can hold on to.
I tried to call once but I couldn't do it, I lost my nerve. Don't change your number...I need to make you mine.
I know you don't know me but you make me so happy.

I was riding in my brother's car one day when he switched stations on his XM to some sports channel/program, which advertised its call-in number in the RDS info that flashed up... you guessed it! I guess nobody will forget how to get in contact with them :)

If you're in a grocery store and don't have one of their membership cards, ask them to punch in your phone number. Then tell them your number is 867-5309. Apparently lots of folks use that as a dummy number when they fill out the paperwork for the card, so it likely will be in the system. The hard part is not cracking up while reciting the number to the cashier.

I used to use an Android app called Bluff My Call. It allowed me to pick any number I wanted and then call someone so their caller ID would show that number. At the time, it was in the Android Market and was free if you limited the calls to 2 minutes. All you had to do was listen to an advertisement before the call. I haven't had it installed in a long time and it's no longer in the Android App Store (Google Play). It seems to be more sketchy now... http://bluffmycall.com/mobile/download/
Anyway, you could do something like that to call people from 867-5309. I wouldn't recommend discussing private matters or even mentioning full names, for that matter...
