This question just got Green Jelly's "Three little pigs" stuck in my head!

Two William Shatner - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds references within a week on Deals.Woot. What kind of weird vortex am I in?!

@coondogg97: Well, Shatner didn't approach his covers like that one, and of course, Rocketman, as a novelty. He seemed utterly serious at the time. I don't think he slipped into intentional self-parody until the 90's.

And you know it going to be a long...... long........ time.......

A question posted by belndag earlier today reminded me that THIS is the ultimate cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgbNymZ7vqY

What could be better than these three words: Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody.

Totally on a Muppet kick now!

My favorite is Tom Jones and the lead singer of the Cardigans doing a duet cover of Burning Down the House.

I don't have audio here at work so I don't know if this will sound like crap or not.

@inkycatz: Thanks Inky! For some reason BB Code and I just don't get along. I long for a day woot! includes simple BB Code for us commoners!

Also great Muppets reference. I went to a dueling piano bar in Disney and requested the Muppets version of Forget You. They pulled it off and everyone went nuts. Very cool.

I'm going to have to go with Shia Labeouf. Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf.

I think this would be considered a novelty cover version. The band is called Johnny Cakes and the 4 Horseman Of The Apocalypso. This is their cover of "Jump In The Line" complete with steel drum and barefoot dancing girls.

Sorry for the shaky camera work. I'd just walked into the place and heard this song playing and had to record it.

I am really enjoying all of these so far!

Kinda surprised there's no Weird Al up in here, you all! No fans? :)

@inkycatz: Al doesn't really do covers, except for the medleys of popular songs set to polka music.
