A Lindt chocolate bunny with little truffle eggs. Mmm...chocolate truffles.

Real chocolate covered baby bunnies.

Cadbury used to make eggs that were filled with chocolate. Those were to die for!

@minkeygirl7: One of my coworkers was lamenting the fact that he hasn't been able to find any of those for a couple of years now.

I like the regular Cadbury eggs and the Reeses eggs (which I know aren't really different than the standard Reeses peanut butter cups but, for some reason, I just like ones in the holiday shapes better. Different ratio of peanut butter to chocolate maybe? Completely in my head?)

I like the pastel M&M's. They taste better than the regular ol' M&M's. Really.

Peeps. From last year. They have to be cured so they are sufficiently taffy-like and not mushy.

White peeps. Yellow is OK. Blue, red, green and purple, no.

@gt0163c: Not all in your head. There IS more peanuty goodness in ratio to the chocolate coating. As far as crap candy goes, Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs or Christmas Trees are better than the regular cups and are a favorite in my house.

Cadbury Chocolate Creme Filled Eggs can be had for a price: http://www.amazon.com/Cadbury-Easter-Chocolate-Creme-4-Count/dp/B0062RL176

I liked the older Cadbury Cream Eggs. You could just about pour the center of them out. The newer ones are good too, but I prefer the original ones better. Jelly beans are also good.

Nestle makes a SweeTarts Jelly Beans that are wonderful. They have a slightly hard outer shell made up of the SweeTarts candy, and a chewy center. I could go through a whole bag in no time.

Russell Stover chocolate marshmallow eggs, which come individually foil-wrapped in cartons of twelve. I buy three or four crates every year - I don't bother with any other Easter confections, and they're all for me!

Another vote for Cadbury Creme Eggs!

Cadbury Mini Eggs. Way better than their bigger, cream-filled brothers.

@mgscott: I appreciate your spirit, but apparently DW is starting to overlook questions that are over a few months old...seems like the way they do some of the deals.

White choc M&M's, found them at Target .... mmmmmm

Any answer other than Cadbury Eggs would be a lie to me. I stockpile those puppies so that they last me several months.

@bluejester: i'm sorry. i never could stand their creme eggs. and the first year i lived on my own i bought enough of the carmel eggs that the cashier asked what group was having a party. they lived in my freezer for a couple years slowly getting ate on rare occasions, but i burned myself out on them and haven't been able to eat one since.

vote-for6vote-against

@moosezilla: When you say "since" it sounds like a long time. Perhaps I can encourage you to have a reunion with them? I bet they've missed you. I know when they go away for the year, I most certainly miss them.

vote-for6vote-against

@bluejester: great. just what i need. now my food has a spokesman for it. it's bad enough that i hear it calling my name all the time saying how tasty it is. it has been at least ten years since i went on that buying spree, but i just can't convince myself. i think i like the milkyway simply carmel now. i can at least have it year around for my carmel fix needs. but this is supposed to be about easter only candy so i'll stick with my tropical fruit starburst jellybeans.

My yearly guilty indulgence is two bags of Whoppers™ Robin Eggs. I buy them as soon as they hit the shelves and they last me through the holiday. I actually have to force myself to just buy the two bags, and then eat just a couple at a time... otherwise I'd sit here constantly popping them in my mouth.

Incidentally - Cadbury Creme Eggs are disgusting to me. Even the sight of one broken open is enough to make me queasy. Given that I spent over a decade as a paramedic in Chicago, you can make some assumptions about what a cast-iron constitution I usually have... but those eggs? shudder Pass.

Solid White Chocolate Bunny. I've seen it a few places over the years but my local CVS is the most consistent carrier come Easter-Time. I think it's made by Brachs but I'm not sure. Yes, I know white chocolate isn't really chocolate. To that I say, go %^#%@#% yourself, I friggin LOVE white chocolate. :)

Palmer's hollow Peter Rabbit. I don't want the "too tall" bunny with its ears sticking out of the package, or the super trendy texting bunny, but plain old Peter. I break off bits of him and drop them down the hole in the middle, so he gets filled up with his own chocolaty goodness, and then drink his pieces out of the bunny chalice that is the lower half of his body. Yes, this might mean I need therapy, but it is terribly satisfying.

vote-for4vote-against

@elandria: nah, that means you are normal. we all have our little weird thing to do with food. you want an example of needs therapy: this chick i know has this entire song of kill the bunny she made up that involves peeps bunnies (the pink ones in particular) getting tortured and winds up with her tearing their head off and eating it. i've got it on video once, but am now forbidden to show/discuss (because of her kid).

@elandria: We have a Peter Rabbit in the cabinet!

We just tried it, and: Success!! This is hilarious.

@minkeygirl7: Ha! The Amazon Gold Box Lightning Deal right NOW is the chocolate cadbury eggs! $15.18 for 6 of the 4-packs. Good for another 42 minutes as of the time of this comment. Run run run!

I feel special because I don't see that anyone else posted this one.

GOLD BRICK EGGS!! They are the most amazing slice of heaven in the world. They were never actually available where I lived but my dad always found a way to get them for us every year. The one place I know to get them is in New Orleans. They are so amazing!!
