Challenge: Macedonia-Lida Glycerin Soap Multi-pack or single bars
Any one who has been to Spain or had family rotate through duty stations in Spain will be familiar with these multi-color glycerin soaps.
My mom is on her last bar and I can't find this any where, not even my local Navy Exchange. I've searched the internet, but the best I can do is find one place where it's back ordered forever. I know if it's still out there, one of you amazing people will find it.
@chuckbauer319: You have got to be kidding me! Wish I had known this as my mom would have loved having it again. Unfortunately, she passed away prematurely-- in fact, it'll be 2 years next week. I just might have to order a few bars any way. Thanks for posting on such an old question. I'm glad I still had the notifications still turned on.
You can buy MACEDONIA SOAP at this website www.thesoapopera.com from our 41 year old company in Madison, Wisconsin, or you can call us toll free 800-251-7627 anytime. We have been told are the only place in the US to carry MACEDONIA SOAP.
@zinniagarden: Did that several months ago, and nothing has ever come of it, but thank you for responding to such an ancient question. I'll just have to keep checking at my local Navy and Army/Air Force Exchanges.
Welcome to Deals.woot!
TRY EBAY MACEDONIA SPANISH SOAP. PUT IT ON WATCH OR WISH LIST
@bkindustries: No idea. I've been traveling and have only now gotten to look at deals. Your best bet is to address that directly to the Staff. Perhaps a rule has been broken in how you offered to broker a deal.
@lavikinga: Hey, any Idea why our comment string about what deal you wanted to see dissapeared?
@thilderbrand20: So what you're saying is if I add in the aroma of freshly brewed coffee I'll have them melting at my feet?
Seriously. I appreciate the help with this search.
@lavikinga: yeah everyone makes it seem as if crafting your own soap is sooooo easy, hey i've seen fight club, im not down for all that.. your mother apparently has fine tastes as this stuff is seemingly non-existent on the good ol' internet..
oh and be careful with the "smell like country breakfast" approach, you have no idea of the power it holds!
@thilderbrand20: I swear I even explored the idea of making this soap. How hard can making soap be? After research, I realized it's best to have some one else make it for me. But this is not for me, but for my mother. If I had only known earlier that she had wanted more of this stuff and I had been successful in finding it, then I could achieve favorite child status. But no...she loves my brother more. The little suck-up.
I remember that "make-your-own-bacon-soap" and I think I even voted on the idea. Mmmmm, THAT'S how you attract a man...smell like bacon, and waffles if I dab some syrup behind my ears ;)
Go forth. Don your soap-hunting asshat and be successful!
@lavikinga: what are you too good to try the, "make your own bacon soap" i posted in my first ATW soap? oh fine!
this stuff was hard to find, why get just 3 bars? you should go big with 84,672 bars!! http://www.buysellcommunity.com/sale/KSKGNCZO/
ok ok before you call me an "asshat" (i cracked up when i read that by the way) please know that i diligently looked for this soap and it is very hard to find.. i'll keep my eyes peeled and hopes high for you, its just good to get back in the "challenge" swing of things!
@faughtey: It's a classic "what did you bring us back from cruise?" gift.
This is great soap! Tried it when I was stationed in Spain. I'll help you look, and hope someone can find it.
