Ourange
Gotta be orange. Or orange and black.
Edit: hmmmm, both orange and black have been done before....
@durkzilla: Oh I didn't think of Orange or Even maybe Purple in honour of Halloween.
I'm voting for glow in the dark mini monkeys. It's been along time since we seen the mini monkeys. Mine is all beat up. If we could order new, I could give the one I have a decent burial.
If they'd ship in time to arrive for Halloween then orange and black would be fabulous. That timing doesn't seem too likely though.
Maybe another animal print, or a reissue of the psychadelic-colors-caped monkey? The psychadelic duds look very appropriate on the GITD monkey by the way.
turkey monkey?
@hobbit: Monkeys in Pilgrim hats or feathered headdresses in time for the Great Feasting would be perfect. Of course, I just watched that PBS program on the shafting of the American Indians by the English. What people will do to one another over land! It made me sick at heart.
I'd like it if the cape was turkey-tail-feather-print. That'd be fun. We can count on getting our monkeys by Thanksgiving, right?
Santa Monkeys!!!
Oh, I'd like a Santa Monkey to hide in a tree instead of the traditional pickle.
But Santa is associated with Christmas and we might want to think more like Snowman/Snowflake Monkeys to be all-inclusive.
@lavikinga: Holiday Monkey, maybe they can have one with a blue and silver cape too - although I would want that.
@hobbit: WAIT! What about a Krampas monkey? Haven't a clue how to pull it off. You should see all the stares I get when I wear it (my woot! shirt) during the Christmas holidays.
@lavikinga: I got a Krampus Woot Shirt (which fits, surprisingly) in my last BoC. I totally don't get it. Off to Wikipedia I go...
[edit] and here we have it:

[edit 2] for those of you who haven't seen the shirt:

@lavikinga: a what?
edit: that is scary
http://wine.woot.com/ want olives
I need a hobby... I just updated our little buddy's Wikipedia page.

My first Wikipedia edit EVER! sniffle What a milestone!
@perkalicious11: awwwwwwwwwwwww
I want a cape with my new picture on it.

Yes, Virginia, there's a reverse side for this beauty, too.

First time I saw these, I laughed myself out of air. Sorry, don't know the author (and I'm way too lazy to trace it back on Flickr). A friend sent me the links some time ago.
Truthfully, I may be monkeyed out...
@hobbit: I want them too, but between me being the only one in the family who likes them and the fact that salt makes me swell like a Macy's Parade balloon, I'm passing them up. I did get in on the silicone glove deal. They'll be perfect to use with our Firewire skewers.
@perkalicious: Congrats! Yeah, the Krampas thing is odd. I get the bah-humbugs during the holidays and the woot shirt just makes it all better.
I've got it! Either a cape that looks like bacon or a Zombie monkey.
@lavikinga: I love the bacon idea!! You could use it to corral the troops for breakfast!
"GET OUT OF BED!" zing
"MOM! WHAT THE... oh, bacon!"
Mmmmmmmmmm...wine.woot has Beehive cheese up now. That is some tasti-liscious stuff.
I predict a random cape color monkey, in honor of random Woot shirts.
I don't care if the monkeys are naked, I just need some more!
But how about:
mini keychain monkeys with green capes?
giant monkeys with green capes?
Glow in the dark monkeys with green capes?
regular monkeys with psychedelic green capes?
I think I have a fixation on the color green, I should have been born in May.
Gray to celebrate the wonderful Seattle weather (even though we do have sun today). ^.~
@perkalicious11: Ohhhhhh lord.
Superman? Or would that be illegal/done before. If it is the how 'bout one that is holding a beer...
@hobbit: Do your DAR friends know that you're a Tory (or do you prefer "Loyalist")?
@heymo: yes they know I am a Foriegn Born National.
@hobbit: Speaking as a "natural-born citizen," I like that you stuck with the original spelling. Somehow it has more flavour.
@heymo: it is actually a really bad habit from living close to the Canadian border and French Class.
@carterby4033: I would definitely buy a beer-holding monkey! Props if he doesn't spill while he's flying
Monkeys should be coming up tonight!
It's the Stars & Stripes forever!!
@afurball: There you have it!
Not a great Woot! Off for me, I didn't see anything I particularly needed or wanted, except of course the Bounty of Coconuts.
@afurball: funny that none of us even thought of that.
@durkzilla: At first I was disappointed because they are repeats from around the 4th of July.
But I had a happy adjustment with the realization that now I can snag more to share. What family member wouldn't LOVE to have a screaming patriotic monkey in their Christmas stocking?
It's disturbingly clear to me that woot has affected my brain chemistry.
@hobbit: Seriously! Wasn't the leopard-print from 9/22 the first real rerun?
I wouldn't have suspected another one from as recent as late June. Though I guess that was almost 4 months ago...
@afurball: I never got that monkey so it didn't matter. It wasn't a rerun for me.
The monkeys are almost sold out. maybe they will put up the blue camo monkeys next.
