Are you participating in any Winter Solstice events?

We were going to be traditional and burn a tree on the hilltop, to help entice the sun to start making its way north, but don't want to chance a forrest fire.

I'm going to my folks house after work to cook up a solstice feast. It'll be a little late but I'll start making snackums early. Go for the traditional jello-shots and vidja games, Planning to give out all my holiday gifts and unwrap a couple of my own :3 Super excited to see what a couple of my friends got me. Overall it should be a good night.

My dumb brother is going to an end of the world party though so maybe he wont get a present this year.

Oh boy and then festivus on sunday.
I'll still probably stop by my parents house on christmas too though, I dunno though, seems a bit much at that point though.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
