Bug Report: Links in deals truncated if at end of long description?
@snapster: Posted the deal below 30 minutes ago, just before the Woot-off began.
The description ran to the character limit. I edited to make it fit. When I submitted it. Saw the long title was lacked the keyword "MIR" plus the last 20 characters of the trailing link ....xxx.pdf were lost. Edited it, changed the title, recopied the full link. Verified the content and re-submitted.
Looked at the posted deal again. My title changes didn't take and the link was truncated again. Edited again, changed just the title and submitted. It took this time.
Edit #4, again re-copied the MIR link. Verified again. Submitted it. Once more the final URL was truncated, but my editing window closed.
Instead I added the proper link as a comment.
Not sure why this occurred or if it is repeatable.

woot also cuts off the .pdf from view from the last part of the link, it looks like the .pdf part is hiding behind an invisible box of crap. when i hover the MIR link, it looks fine and shows the link is complete but when i click it, i get the newegg homepage instead of the pdf. so, something's wrong with the redirecting too
Many times when the link looks correct in the title and the picture, on a deal I add, clicking on it takes me to an entirely different site. That's really frustrating and it doesn't seem to be correctable. Thankfully, I don't seem to have truncation problems, yet. But problems do persist at times
