I took a screenshot just to remember it by. Looks like there a few people out there who REALLY like laptop batteries. Or maybe the same person? stares thoughtfully into the distance

apparently the same company...if not the same person has all the same interest in the exact same site...in a 3 minutes time span there's a full fresh page of items from the same site...woot staff working on fixing this from happening?
not to get me wrong...it's great if a site is having lots of great deals and such, but it kills the real dedicated wooter's efforts (or even the paid deal posting staff's efforts)
can anyone say tabbed/collated deals as previously mentioned...perhaps @snapster has a response on when this is happening...or maybe at leas the priority level on it?
It's the same person. I tattled on it a while ago. It'll be cleaned up sooner or later. Or not.

gotta admit, at least whoever it is isn't quite smart enough to flood during the highest traffic period...but rather about an hour later...unless this has been going on for more than an hour and I've missed it?
Over 5 pages of batteries and counting. Those three "individuals" must be planning on posting their entire catalog.

Perhaps one of them is still out and about.
May we go on a quick tangent? My room is currently at 86 degrees and I am beyond uncomfortable. Any suggestions? I have fans blowing, no AC, and have given up on trying to sleep.
@fidett: Bummer, heat can be quite annoying. Ice packs and cold water usually does the trick for me.
@fidett: place a bowl of ice water in front of the fan. Lay a damp cloth around your neck, and you might consider rinsing your feet and hands in water. To cool the body, it is only necessary to cool the major pulse points. The wrists and neck alone will make an enormous difference.
The attack of the killer laptop batteries seems to have finally slowed. Perhaps the Woot Warriors are beating them back.

Wow, no kidding, all manner and kinds of laptop batteries. Are these even good deals? Anyway, I just posted what I thought was a really good deal on a wireless mouse, which I could barely find among all of those batteries. Well, hopefully anyone that needs a good mouse will find it among the multitude of postings. Good night all!

yeesh! it looks like the work of a BOT even. I mean..I'd think a human being would start thinking this might look fishy after the first 10 or so postings.

But no, the onslaught has resumed.
They are now holding the first 10 pages of fresh, and seem to have run out of oil (for the moment?).
Could this be the final disturbance before they hire an over night shifter?
They added a fourth SPAMMER BOTttt: @bella1118 (the others being @nana139873, @ketty1984, and @apple1012)
I have seen these websites spam other deal sites and some blogs/forums. It is annoying. PWP, smiller, joesf: Can you block all their site from Deals? Or should we report them to the BBB?
@lordwoot: I replaced the short versions with: @prettywootprincess @Shawnmiller @jumbowoot and posted it. I's not showing up. This happened to me before, any ideas?

At 6:30 EDT (10:30 UTC), I count roughly 10 1/2 pages with literally just a couple of legit deals sprinkled in. This is rapidly becoming un-fun.
After the first five pages of Fresh items were flooded with them, I lost interest :(
The first 11 pages now... To make matters worse, not one of them is for the replacement Samsung Ace battery I need. :p
Perhaps all the Woot admins attended the same party last night and are all fighting a hangover. :)
It would be more troubling if this sort of thing never happened. Foldering system will be so nice.

@sand4me: haha because sifting through 10 pages of spam is fun? What I did was click most votes and just go through the deals that way to avoid all the 0 votes which were all those batteries.
@hobbit: It's the tattling I wanted to play at - I have decided to adopt new and interesting ways to say this deal is junk. Wanted to practice.
@sand4me: ahhhh okay. Well you being on this coast what was your excuse for not being up at the crack of dawn? besides retirement?

I just refreshed the Fresh tab and the whole page was almost all owned by @snowflake2010... Seems like the deals are from a couple of different sites, but it is a bit annoying to see so many similar items show up at the same time.
Does it bother anyone else?
