I rarely find myself going back more than a few days anyway, unless I'm looking for a specific deal. But some do seem to persist or repeat.

As for deleting after 30 days, I think it's unlikely to happen.

I wasn't aware that "dealPrice < regularPrice" was an actual criteria for posting deals.

I'll grant you that it only makes sense that a deal's price should be less than regular price to be a deal, but is this in fact a tattle-worthy offense? Will a moderator remove a deal for being regular price?

What if the item is still at regular price, but shipping is temporarily reduced? Is it not a deal?

What about deals tied to a monetary exchange rate? When the dollar goes up against the pound, does that justify posting a new deal?

For how long must a price remain reduced for that price to no longer be considered reduced?

If it was a good price last week or last month, and it hasn't changed, is it now a bad price merely because it hasn't changed?

What about free deals? Should they be deleted because they don't get better over time?

Finally, consider this from a practical perspective. Is it worth someone's time to troll through old deals, looking to see if the prices are still valid?

Last year's great deals on large screen TV's for example have become the new regular price. Some are still good deals and some are not. I have posted deals that are the regular price, but unique or innovative or useful enough to post thinking my fellow wooters might think so too. To me a good deal is almost, but not 100% of the time, reduced price and free shipping (kindly note I did put that in there!).

@baqui63: Yeah, never thought of it that way.
I just see "deal" being the same as bargain. Meaning that it is financially advantageous for me to buy something at a given moment in time, from a certain vendor. If the product maintains that price, and is available elsewhere at the same price. Is it still a deal?
Just a thought.
