I think soccer interest in general struggles in the U.S. Aside from the World/Euro Cup and the Olympics it has a low following. I'm sure a lack of interest in the sport in general is going to be troublesome, let alone the fact that (aside from the Olympic events) women's sports in general spark low interest. I'm weighing in with a big "No" third time will unfortunately not be the charm.

Also, can we really find out who this bitter downvoter is? It's getting pretty annoying lately.

The Womens Lingerie Football League draws more fans, maybe they could learn something from them.

@eraten: I wonder about the lack of vocal support from the National Team players, seems like enthusiastic players is a huge selling point as well as being able to promote players + the teams they'll be playing for. And neither is happening. Rushing into marketing fails doesn't seem auspicious. But I wish them well. Maybe the league's shooting for local market success and exposure first...

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

It wasn't Albert Einstein who said that, but whoever did is spot on. Way too much money gets thrown away chasing ideas that are already proven failures.
