Has anyone made a purchase from Bookperk?

I ordered a book from a deal through Bookperk that was posted here on deals.woot. I did a quick search on the website and didn't see any red flags. I placed my order back on December 21st and I have not received my book or anything updating my order status. Emails to the support email address have been ignored. Does anyone have any experience with Bookperk? Good or bad?

I actually posted the deal after I heard about Bookperk from an author's email newsletter. I just got the shipping confirmation from them and I looked on the internet and found some people who had ordered from Bookperk and received their books. Although, I'm not quite sure why they haven't answered their emails, because I sent them one, too, and never heard back. I guess they were on an extended vacation.

@emilyfung: Thanks, I just happened to get the shipping email today, too. It would have been nice had they actually acknowledged my email to them. Not the best customer service, or any customer service for that matter, but hopefully the book does finally arrive. I will probably not do business with them again, though.

Well, I finally received my order yesterday from Bookperk. My signed, first edition book has a ripped inside cover. I'm so frustrated with this company, I'm just going to live and learn. So, in summary - crap customer service, long wait times for orders, and damaged products. Won't see me adding any Bookperk deals to deals.woot ever.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
