How was your experience with cowboom.com?

I just completed my first purchase with cowboom and wow... great experience. I had an issue with the controller my PS3 came with (rubber cover was ripped/melted and exposed the plastic stick) and they didn't ask any questions and gave me a partial refund on my purchase. It made my already sweet deal on a ps3 even sweeter ($90 including shipping for a 80 gb backwards compatible system).

Have you had similar experiences? Any problems?

Bought a dual dvd player combo for the car,looked like it was new, no problems with the 2 units, would definitely buy from them again.

i haven't but they were bought up by Best Buy and sell Best Buy returns and trade-ins

I had a pretty good experience when I bought a used iPod Classic from Cowboom last fall.

Works like new, fully functional.

Screen, controls, and front matte casing looked like new; polished silver back of case looked like it had seem some wear/scuffing patterns due to some sort of third-party case or something.

Arrived on time. I had a question about shipping and customer service was decent; replied in about a day with an actual email written by a human, rather than an auto-response saying I should check their FAQ.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
