Have you ever wondered what exactly happened after President Lincoln's assassination?

Pretty much the link above contains a detailed report in first person of the physician who was the first to reach Abraham Lincoln when he was assassinated. It pretty much accounted in very good detail from the time he was shot to his very last breath.
Reading it felt like watching part of "National Treasure" kind of. Also, this article is pretty cool if you know some medical terminology. :]
What did you guys think?
Pretty cool. Have you read Killing Lincoln? That was an excellent book on the topic.
Thanks! Well, I haven't. =/
But I have watched several of the documentaries on History channel when it aired and also the one where what they think John Wilkes Booth did to go into hiding.
Interesting. I've read a great deal of history around that time. Glad they found this.
Thanks for the post.
Looks like an interesting read. I'll check it out in a little while. Thanks!
I thought Abe was a Vampire Hunter.
Didn't John Wilkes Booth run onto the stage afterwards and trip over the American flag? I could've sworn I read that somewhere.
@eviloverlord333: It was a hobby of his.
@captainsuperdawg: Nope. Most documentaries I've seen say that his foot was snagged as a jumped down from the box and his foot pretty much got twisted. And with a limpy foot he cried out "Sic semper tyrannis" (Latin for 'Thus always to tyrants') in the middle of the stage.
I may be wrong too.. I didn't major in history.
