Well, I'd like to say I'll celebrate by eating 100 Oreos, but I really don't think that'd be such a good idea. I may go out and by a pack, though.

I will try to see if my wife wants to do the Double Stuff.

vote-for4vote-against

I will revert to childhood, take some apart, and eat the middle "stuff"

congradulations oreos! glad to see the health food craze didn't kill everything with taste!

vote-for3vote-against

I get to go learn happen about what happens to your heart after stuffing yourself with Oreos. I may never eat them again after the pictures :-(

Have you ever had Mint Oreos? It's like brushing your teeth with an Oreo. Dentists love that one.

vote-for6vote-against

I like my Oreos like I like my women, Double Stuf and in my mouth.
wat.

vote-for5vote-against

A bottle of champagne & a package of double stuffed. Taken apart 1 by 1. :-D

I suppose I might finish off my Birthday Cake flavored Oreos today. They're kind of amazing.

vote-for6vote-against

So, I will admit, I was expecting to see nothing but Oreo deals after 1:00 AM.

Otherwise, I won't celebrate it. Just happy to see a US business stay in business for that long.

vote-for5vote-against

I'll buy a package, but not the double-stuff.

vote-for6vote-against

I celebrated by posting a few oreo deals!

vote-for4vote-against

@bnbsouthworth: LOL, that's probably how I will celebrate Oreo Day.

Now, I have to make the choice between Peanut Butter, Mint Creme, or the Fudge Covered Mint.

i'll be getting my hair done, Oreo style! taking this pic to the stylist:

i think it would be better with choco pudding instead of vanilla.

I will celebrate as if it's my own birthday....oh yeah, that's right, because it is! :)

Lament the demise of Hydrox.

vote-for3vote-against

@lmensor: Happy birthday. May this birthday be the best one you have ever had, but not the best one you will ever have!

vote-for2vote-against

I will have some original Oreo cookies dunked in milk. Cheers!

I am going to fill a large vault with Oreos and and swim in them the way that Scrooge McDuck swims in his money.

vote-for2vote-against

Gonna grab a pack of Double Stuf on the way home from work!! So delicious... :)

vote-for3vote-against

Oreo Blizzard! Nom Nom Nom Nom

vote-for4vote-against

Gotta go with the normal style oreo. I'd much rather eat the cookie part than the stuff in the middle let alone double stuff.

vote-for3vote-against

@lmensor: Happy birthday! Have an oreo cake!

vote-for2vote-against

@jnissel: Thanks! That's a very nice birthday wish!

@inkycatz: Thank you too! That's a huge oreo cake!! Actually, I think our Walmart or Giant has Friendly's Oreo cakes in the freezer section, I'll have to make my DH go check them out since he's all about ice cream cakes anyway!!

I scored on an OREO deal on Amazon last week. 4 packages for $7!

We are having an OREO party at work as I type - Ha!

...I could not have planned it any better if I would have known OREO was about to be 100.

vote-for2vote-against

@mommyleah: They are amazing! Make them for a party, and I promise that you will go home with an empty tray!

@staceroo: I found oreo balls on Pinterest and I've been dying to try them! Glad you posted this, because I'm never sure if something that sounds awesome is actually going to taste awesome.

I think I'm too lazy tonight to make anything fancy, so I might need to pick some plain 'ol oreos up on my way home. With all this Oreo talk, I need to get me some!

This probably seems un-American, but I've never really liked Oreos; too sweet and I would describe the cookie flavor as "brown" rather than chocolate-y. When Kraft introduced Oreos to China, they found that the Chinese felt the same way. Here's a couple interesting links about how the cookies were revamped (less sweet, more chocolate, new shapes and textures, interesting filling flavors):

Apparently some of these Oreo variations are available in Canada and Australia. (Meanwhile, I'll stick with my Hint-o-mint Newman-o's.)

@staceroo: I have made those and they are awesome! We call them Oreo Truffles -- it sounds fancier.

For those of you going to try it, make sure to roll them smaller than you would think. Maybe 1.5". Otherwise they'll be too big. They're better smaller.
