Do They Know It's Christmas, by the 80s. Doesn't exactly make me wanna wassail.

"Grandma got run over by a reindeer" is banned from my humble abode.

I have to admit to a certain fondness for Santa Baby, but ONLY the Eartha Kitt version. I don't recognize the third one you name, but I'm sure you're correct (and I'm sure that I'm happy not to hear it).

Blue Christmas by Elvis (or anyone)

Any cover of traditional christmas music by random groups that can't sing, or that feel it would be oh, so much better, if they just helped it along. I've heard enough bad versions of Silver Bells that I want to pull out the hunting gear. I love christmas music. I really do. I now have This Christmas stuck in my ear, dammit. I hated that song the first time I heard it.

I'm going to go off now and listen to my old CDs of early stuff from Dean Martin (best Let It Snow ever), and then throw The Bishop's Wife on the DVD player, and try to get that horrid sound out of my ear.

For revenge: Any version, at all, whatsoever, of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.

I'm sorry; my bad! ;->

Geez Scrooge.

Just kidding. I personally have had too much of silver bells and chestnuts roasting on an open fire.

I'm tired of the Chipmunks

as a general rule in my household, if it was recorded after the early 60s, then I'm not interested in it. I grew up listening to Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra Christmas music. All else is pretty much garbage (except a few versions of Christmas in Killarny, and the original Jingle Bell Dogs -- sorry, it was a childhood thing for me).

Feliz Navidad. I've always pretty much lived in areas that have a large bilingual population so it's a popular song on the radio, but it just gets stuck in my head and I find myself hearing the song in my head way more than I like.

Anything at all by Alvin & the Chipmunks.

Christmas Shoes, I may sound like a jerk for that but I can't handle listening to that again.

"Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band Aid. I appreciate the meaning and purpose behind it, but the song itself is just embarrassingly bad.

Even Bob Geldof thinks so, and he WROTE it.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree... I don't actually hate the song, but it's my wife's favorite and I've heard it just a few hundred too many times.

@dreamyvelvet: I generally agree about Feliz Navidad... But ever since my daughter at 4 years old messed up and sang it "I wanna wish you a merry christmas from the heart of my bottom"... I can't resist.

all Christmas songs. It may have to do with the fact that they begin playing them non stop on the radio while still in the month of November. Damn people let Thanksgiving pass by first.

I hate, hate, hate The Drummer Boy. I just find it soooooo tedious.

My mom played the Elvis Christmas CD from Thanksgiving through New Year's non-stop for 15 years.

If I have a blue-(insert Elvis noises)- Christmas, I might just shoot someone. We've started buying her a new Christmas CD every year, just to interrupt Elvis.

Also, anything with Chipmunks in it.
