Has anyone actually received a free magazine subscription from www.freebizmag.com?
I've made the mistake of filling out the survey on three occasions now and each time I get to the point where I claim my free magazine, I get the message "All subscriptions have been claimed." And then I get a message that I can check out other consumer or paid business titles that may be of interest to you.
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I've tried on an Italian Cooking mag, Architectural Digest, and one other title maybe Metropolis Magazine.
Done it twice about three-four months ago.
Still nothing.
Think it's a fishing expedition for a bought list provider.
@houndlax: In all fairness, 'It may take up to 20 weeks to receive your first issue.' So you still have another 4 weeks. What a joke!
I know I have gotten some free magazine subscriptions and it was probably 2 months between signing up and receiving the first issue (I think Maxim, Popular Science, PC World etc.). I don't know if it was through the same site though. Since then, my wife (I have never entered her name on a form) has started getting like three or four magazines and we have no idea why. They are magazines that is interested in so we assume they were gifts or something from family.
yep, I had over 3 years of maxim for free, and a few others for a year.
No, but Entertainment Weekly started showing up for some odd reason and IDK who it came from.
I have received dozens of magazines from them, both for myself and for friends and family. As long as you are "qualified", you should have no problems.
Sometimes there's a limited number of "good" magazines, and they do take a while to get started. Some of the sub cards will do odd things also. My kid bought me a sub for Xmas. He mailed it two weeks before Xmas, and I just got my first issue. Wait: this week I received the Dec, Jan, Feb and March issues.
There are affiliates, kinda like a site that says "People that bought this magazine also bought a boat, a plane, and a fly swatter. Click here ..."
I qualified for free computer magazines because I have a few certs. Which then gave me (six months later) a free sub to Cosmo. Then I got Better Homes a few months after that. Then Boating mag- which I really liked, actually, started coming. I started getting 17 magazine. By this time all I had left from my freebie deals was (a free reup) Cosmo. And my wife wanted to know about 17 magazine. Then Elle started coming.
Use a different middle initial for each suspect deal- you'll be amazed. A typo in my first name 15 years ago still shows up.
