On sheer entertainment value, I would have to say the Tick. To this day I keep my eye open for old NEC back issues.
A close second is that lovable odd couple from Valiant: Archer & Armstrong.

Spiderman. Because he's such a regular guy. Well, there's the shooting spiderwebs thing and supernatural climbing skills, but other than that he's just a regular guy.

My Mom, while she might not be able to do "what a spider can"; she kept my *ss straight. Which was a superhero feat onto its self.

Badman is amazing because he is a completely normal human who just happens to kick ass and has awesome gadgets, but he doesnt rely on any super human abilities.

Captain America.

Before the super soldier serum, he was originally just a regular guy, if not a bit scrawny. As Captain America, he embodies honor and integrity.

The legacy of the character is great, and the current comics are excellent reads with solid art. I'm totally looking forward to the movie.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
