A friend ordered one for my family. It was wonderful, we loved it!

never ordered one myself or received one from someone. they seem expensive, but they hire a lot during holidays so someone must be buying them

It's pretty cool and seems at least somewhat more practical than flowers (i'd rather know the recipient got to eat it rathan than just watch some flowers die). I give them as thank you gifts and I love getting them too.

I highly stress getting one with chocolate covered fruit in it. Not all of the bouquet is chocolate covered, just some of it. Without the chocolate, it's much less appealing to me personally, but i'm not a fruit lover. Someone who loves fruit may not even care about the chocolate covered fruit.

My wife is constantly ordering them for people. They aren't cheap! But they are always a hit.

Yes, but I promised I wouldn't give out any names.

I've given them as gifts a couple of times and got rave reviews.

I have eaten off of a couple and they were good. They are unique (for now). I wonder if there are still cookie bouquets?

I've used their services more than once. They are expensive, but it's more of a novelty gift, if I could go so far as to say that. You don't pay that much for fruit, you pay that much for a cool gift :)

My mother in law has sent them for my kids' birthdays a few times. Plenty of fruit for the four of us - enough for days and days. Much healthier than a cake, and when it comes with figures and character balloons, the kids don't miss having cake at all.

Consider getting the chocolate-dipped fruit bouquets. They are insanely delicious.

No, no way I'm paying that much for fruit. I love fruit, but...no. Cut out some ribeye and bacon with a cookie cutter and I may start to pay attention.

No, but someone did for my neighbor, who wasn't home. So the delivery guy asks if I'll accept it. I took one look at it and said, "I don't think that thing will fit into my fridge, but I can check." I go to take the thing from him, but instead he just walks right in, straight to the kitchen and stands in front of the fridge! It took about 2 seconds to see that the arrangement was way too tall to fit in the fridge without removing shelves.

Anyhow, the point of the story is: if you're going to send this to anyone you'd better: 1) send it when they're home, 2) make sure it's not a tall arrangement, or 3) send it to their workplace where they can share it before it goes bad.

My wife orders from them. They are pretty, but personally I find them to be waaaaaaaaay too expensive. I keep telling her I'd prefer to not send these because of the price.

Instead of flowers, I've started sending people plants, so they last longer than both flowers and fruit, if watered :-) Most florists have some sort of selection of plants to give.

Have seen the ads but haven't ordered any & after looking at the website, I can't imagine that I would. The Harvest Celebration is $85 - that's w/15% off! It's not that I don't like fruit - I honestly think they're overpriced. If you want to send fruit - ship fruit from a grove. ....A bushel of oranges or grapefruits, or a basket of mixed fruits & other goodies. Much more affordably delicious. No they're not peeled, cut , nor dipped in chocolate but you probably receive 20 times the amount for that price you pay for their labor. Missing the chocolate? Order some chocolates & send those, too. Or fudge.... ::drool::

@kmeltzer: When i go overseas I like to get my kids a fast growing bulb that hasn't come out of the dirt yet. They love it and it helps pass the time.

I've been in the next office over when an admin assistant gets a edible arrangement. They are awesome tasting but kill the wallet.
