Is there something that you won't buy online?
While I know it seems like just about everything is being sold online, is there something that you refuse to buy online?
Fresh seafood.
I prefer to see (and buy) fine art in person than buy online, particularly since I'd rather support local artists.
Fresh groceries, for sure. Produce, dairy, etc. Generally I would also say shoes, as every pair tends to fit just a little different. I did, however, recently buy a pair online - but it was the exact same style dress shoe as a pair I already owned and had worn out.
Jeans, as how they fit is too important. Lots of other stuff, really. Anything that the smell, touch, color or fit are important. Generally I only buy clothes online from places like Kohls with a fair return policy and a local brick and mortar store I can visit to exchange them.
bras, jeans, and work dress pants. because i prefer being comfortable
I just realized, after reading comments from those who won't buy clothing online, everything I have on just now I purchased online, with the exception of socks and boxer shorts. I'm not very oddly sized or shaped so it's pretty easy to do.
I've never purchased a bra online, with something like that you have to try them on!
girls.
Diamonds....you gotta see the sparkle in person.
Fresh food. And clothes. If I can't try it on, it just won't fit right.
Sofas and mattresses. Hard to tell how cushioned/firm those are from pictures. The reviews might be great, but how many of the reviewers are my height, like the same amount of "give" I do, and so on?
Fresh food, like dairy products and vegetables.
Shoes and jeans that are not a brand and size I am familiar with.
Cars (not that I buy cars all that often).
Jeans are something that I would never buy online because the exact fit is so important to me. It's really hard to tell online what the wash/style is.
My next yacht. Made that mistake one time and won't repeat it.
I missed out on a top grain leather rocker recliner that Costco had in the store last week. I really, really wanted it, but had to wait 2 days for my bank account to replenish. Of course, when I went back, it was sold out. I looked at some of the other ones Costco had online, but I just can't see spending that kind of money on something I have no idea is comfortable enough or of sufficient quality without eyeballing it or sitting on it first. Same with beds or couches.
I probably wouldn't order a bride over the internet. Well not now anyway. Who knows about the future.
I have weird feet, so I'd be hesitant to buy shoes online. I have shoes in various sizes based on comfort. Most sites would make me pay to ship back and I can often beat Zappos' prices in a retail store. But i can't say never if the deal is good enough...
Also, I'm picky about fresh groceries, so I probably wouldn't buy those online.
@trevinopete: I'm the same way, but I wore out a pair of Adidas that I loved and was able to order an identical pair from shoebacca.com on the cheap. "... can't say never..." seems appropriate
gasoline lol
@tmontgom: That is a good one. Plus one and I wish it could be more.
@segafanalways: While I agree with you, I had a co-worker mail order a bride from Russia and she is AMAZINGLY HOT. And they are still together after 10+ years.
