Are speed limits obeyed on the street where you live?
My wife, son, and I live on a 2-lane county road. We happen to live on a steeply winding (and steeply descending/climbing) S-curve which is marked at 20mph. Less than a quarter mile up the road from us is a school.
Yet I seem to be the only person in the county who obeys the speed limit. I've seen school buses going past our house at 50+, gravel trucks easily doing 60+, and sports cars doing who-knows-what.
Do you live on a street where at least 25% of the drivers show a shred of regard for the speed limit?
And yes, I've tried reporting it to law enforcement. They don't seem to care.
