Most of the cartoons through my childhood STUNK.

Adulthood, though ... Animaniacs (which by default, includes Pinky and the Brain) without a doubt. Which makes the current Woot forum word filters all the more fun.

I like the classic Looney Tunes, but have always wondered why almost all the characters have had speech impediments.

Hard to say - I think I liked them all. But I STILL can enjoy the Flintstones - and my kids love to watch, too. I definitely get more of the references as an adult (as a kid, I didn't know who Cary Granite was...) But I remember some other fun cartoons - Speed Racer, Kimba the White Lion and Astroboy were must-watch shows.

I love a lot of cartoons. I'm pretty much a giant child. My favorite is Tom and Jerry (the old ones) Which are Technically from before I was a child. But I've been watching a lot of Loony Toons lately in the morning. In fact Pre Hysterical Hare is on right now!

I'll second the road runner.

Battle of the Planets, Orginal G.I. Joe, Transformers G1 and Voltron.

GI Joe, because knowing is half the battle. I was also able to watch politically incorrect Looney Tunes as a child in the late 80's before they were edited.

Tiny Toon Adventures
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
He-Man

Transformers, more than meets the eye.

Looney Tunes
Animaniacs
Pinky and the Brain
Rugrats
Care Bears (before it got sucky)
My Little Pony (again, before the suckiness)
Dexter's Laboratory
Batman
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Pretty much every thing from the late 80's through the 90's, although there are some good ones now, too.

Duck Tales was my favorite. I remember there were plenty more along those lines, like Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Talespin. All great shows.

Essentially anything 90's Nickelodeon was tops.

Johnny Quest

That invisible monster that gets covered in paint still freaks me out!

@abramokids: How do you think it feels to hear someone refer to Animaniacs as the "good old days" when I was 27 when it debuted? I still loved it and remain a huge fan, and for a convoluted reason too long to go into here, Rob Paulsen is expecting me to contact him three months before my 20th wedding anniversary in 2015.

My "good old days" were the Looney Tunes shorts, which were already as much as 30 or more years old in the early 70's, and the various incarnations of the "Superfriends" shows that came and went throughout the 70's as well.

Fav was SpiderMan. I also liked "Catch That Pigeon" (It had an official name, but I dont remember it and I dont have time to look it up now.

Then came all the staples - Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker. Later in childhood came the Transformers and GI Joe. As a Teen, Animaniacs, which is now my all time favorite.
