Are you looking forward to Halo Combat Evolved?
I am personally not going to pre-order this game. I have always been a big fan of Halo, but since Bungie no longer has control, I will wait until after release. Plus there are too many other good games coming out this year and I dont need to pre-order a fourth game.
I've never been a big fan of FPS's (only one I liked was the N64 Perfect Dark). All I know about Halo is that you can equip two different guns/weapons at one time. And that it's ALL people would talk about through school.
I was looking forward to it years ago when it was actually a new game. Microsoft has recently fallen into the Nintendo model, a model I despise. They re-release games which cost them literally cents to make, and then charge unnecessarily high prices for them. This model is what made me despise Nintendo and it's starting to make me feel the same towards MS.
No, not really without Bungie in the picture.
Me! Me! I'm looking forward to it! Already preordered it and everything. But why do I care, you ask? Because even though Bungie's not directly involved, it'll still be the same original Halo Combat Evolved engine and gameplay...except now with updated graphics for 2011 and Xbox Live support.
Halo 4 on the other hand...I might wait for hands on previews first or gameplay video. If they happen to keep quiet about it up to the release, you'll know that it'll be a lackluster cash-in.
My friend and I are going to Gamefly it. Not a buyable game to me. I have alot to buy this fall/winter.
I like the fact that you can flip the graphics from new to old. That will be fun.
I thought that was the name of the first Halo. Couldn't they come up with a new name for the latest sequel? Or did they fell they couldn't just call it "Halo 8"?
@lparsons42: Its a remake of the first one
Preordered, since A) I enjoyed the game on the original xbox, and B) I really enjoyed Reach during the disc format beta testing.
Oddly enough, I don't have much, if any, in the multiplayer aspect of the Halo franchise. I did during college, but not so much since then.
Yes. Achievements.
I agree with you that with some big blockbusters coming out in the near future that it is a definite wait and see. Plus I can only play one game at a time and BF3 will be filling that spot.
Yes, already pre ordered. It looks great and I personally like Halo: CE more than any of the other Halo games
