What's your least favorite fall chore?
Yard work or some sort? Getting out the winter clothes? Something else?
it's hard to spell "chore" without "hore"
@mkentosh: I used to do all that, now I just put sta-bil in the gas, and no more chores (of that kind)
I'll agree with @mattysc on this one. I don't have near as many leaves fall off my trees as I do to clean up.
Raking leaves.
Dusting out the big blankets.
Dusting out the heaters (but I usually just set the heat on freaky high and burn everything up).
Looking for where my jackets have gone..
Gutting and butchering 5 - 6 people for the year's store of freezer meat. :P
Scaring People during halloween
@tbgolladay: agreed.
I fill significantly fewer leaf bags, but I don't have any grass, and raking leaves on pea gravel, between trees, and on the sidewalk is really annoying. Especially the sound of the rake on the sidewalk...
Gutting and butchering 5 - 6 deer for the year's store of freezer meat :)
gutter guards are awesome. haven't even thought about gutter cleaning in years.. at most i'll just do a quick inspection of them to make sure they haven't become misaligned, or torn up by squirrels.
my least favorite thing is the late fall task of cutting back and wrapping up the fig trees. ugh. even though the figs are delicious... the effort isn't worth it lol. (6 of them between my yard and my parents' yard (they're old - i'm not letting them do it)
My husband and I had the gutter thing to do every fall as well. Nasty and scary. Then we put up some gutter guards. The next fall at gutter-cleanout time we went up to have a look, and then got back down and put the ladder away -- no cleanout required.

Now my least favorite fall chore is turning over and covering up the garden beds.
Listening to talk about baseball playoff races and results.
draining the riding mower, leaf blower, edger, trimmer and all other gas powered stuff.
I agree with @lavikinga about cutting back the plants, I really really hate that job but I love having the plants, so it's a total love/hate relationship. I don't mind all the leaves because I just mulch them with the mower. I hate putting away the outdoor furniture too.
Gutters and cutting back the "leggy" plants for fall. If we didn't know better, we'd swear there's some sort of natural attraction between our leaves and the gutters on our house.
@tbgolladay: I'll 2nd raking leaves, especially when you have no trees in your yard.
All of them. Chores suck.
Raking leaves. I fill roughly 120 leaf bags (39 gallon) every year.
