40" glasses? That's actually close to the size of a keg...

vote-for11vote-against

WTF would you need 40" champagne glasses for? Please tell me that's a typo.

The best I could find is http://www.greatbigstuff.com/collections/food-drink/products/wine-glass

A number of theater-prop rental companies show up under a google search, but since I don't know where you are I didn't pursue any of them. Try your own search under "giant champagne glass" and see what turns up.

Would you settle for a 47" champagne flute ?

or you could try a 38" martini glass

They seem a bit pricey to me.

@adadavis: Woo hooo! Aren't you a hotshot shopper! Good show -- and two more links to add to my collection of sources for weird stuff. Many thanks.

I hate to think of what you are going to pay for some decent champagne to fill them up with.
Can I come to that party ?
Or maybe this isn't really for some really wonderful [ or ok even decent as stated earlier} champagne. One can dream though, can' they ?

If you go to a local glass blower they could probably do a custom set for you.

@keeda Now you have my curiosity piqued! Please tell me why you need them or I may be killed by it.

This is as close as I can get you:
http://www.decorativenovelty.com/28-acrylic-martini.htm
It is a 28" martini glass from an amazing company here in Brooklyn. Call them. You never know...

Also curious as to why you would need that.

@chellemonkey: I need to make a giant hour glass for my art project ^_^ So I need two glasses which I will actually destroy!

vote-for3vote-against

@adadavis: I need it to be wide as well XD

@magic cave: This comes really close but I think it might be to expensive XD

vote-for3vote-against

@keeda: Well, you get a gold star for creative use of large glassware!

@keeda: I'm at work so I can't spend much time actually looking but it sounds like you don't need the stem part so look at apothecary jars and bell jars.

Here is a 17" one http://www.englishcreekgardens.com/prodetailsa.asp?prodid=5049
