Challenge: Help me find a nice, mid-range Ping Pong table for under $500
I am in the process of buying myself a ping pong table. I've weighed a lot of reviews via Amazon and Dicks Sporting Goods sites and can't decide which one I want.
I had been looking at the Joola Inside, but it seems that Amazon is out of stock at the moment.
I'm now looking at the Stiga ST4000. I checked CamelCamelCamel.com and right now, it's priced at it's lowest price in months.
Does anyone have any feedback to give about either of those tables?

Plenty of good tables on Cragslist. This goes in the category of "sh*t people buy and never use", along with foosball tables, and you can usually find themfor under $200.
@woothulhu: I had one growing up and I played it almost every day for about 4-5 years until my mom and dad sold it to make room for a desk. I know I'll use it.
I've checked locally and it looks like everyone around here has the Sportcraft tables like I had growing up, which was broken fairly quickly and started to sag. Also, the tops didn't line up anymore. That being said, I don't want one of those tables ever again.
@capguncowboy: I hope you didn't take my comment as you wouldn't use it, just saying it happens a lot.
What area are you in?
@woothulhu: Northeast TN/SW Virginia (Bristol). The problem here is (and forgive me if anyone else is from this area) that there are so many "wal-mart is good enough for me" type of people here, that quality stuff rarely makes it's way into the area. It's not that I'm too good for those tables. I just feel like you get what you pay for most of the time.
These retail for around the $500 area, but i'm not sure if the brand is what you want.

From what I could see, amazon reviews are pretty decent:

Also, this one looks nice from Sears, but not sure about reviews.

I have a Stiga Ultratech Table that I think was originally in the 600-700's, but I paid $325 for it at Dicks Sporting Store. It was a display model (and already assembled-- which is a huge plus if you've ever assembled even a lesser model; it's a pain in the ass)
So my best bet to you is to go to your local Sporting Shops (Dicks, Sports Authority, etc), and see if they have any Tables on display that they want to get rid of. You can save more than half off and as long as you have a truck (or a friend with a truck) to haul it away, you're good to go.
