I've checked out a bunch of the Ads locally, but I haven't found anything worth fighting the crazed holiday shoppers for at the crack dawn this year. I'll be staying home watching fellow deals.wooters posting up all the good stuff online! =)

Black Friday at Brick & Mortars is insane. There is not one deal I can find that is worth the mayhem. But I will scour the online deals with vigor.

i'm pitching my tent up at woot HQ, hoping to be the first person on line to get the good stuff

None. I'm not shopping online either.

Some of the big stores (cough Walmart cough) have been manufacturing increasingly unsafe conditions and dangerous crowding, because if someone gets trampled it must be amazing. The bigger the sales numbers get, the more incentive they have to do that.

If there's anything I want to buy, it'll wait until Sunday at the earliest.

There's nothing I'm willing to stand in line for, but I will be at KMart at the crack of dawn for both Thanksgiving and Black Friday sales. There's just too much I want to pass it up, and I am used to getting up that early for work every day, so it just means I'll get up at my usual time instead of sleeping late.

No way I'm going to go out and stand in line... I do have my eye on a computer deal I saw at Best Buy, though. Last year I did almost all my holiday shopping online and it worked out just fine for me.

@gement: I agree about the unsafe conditions - people are crazy to go through that just to save a few bucks. Totally not worth it.

Usually I will to Target cause I like how they handle things but there is a TV that I have been eying at HHgregg that I think I might wait in line for. I will hit Walmart too but after the doors open and the blood has already been spilled. After that, the crowd clears out pretty quick.

It's called my bed. I love it, it's located in my room and nobody minds if I don't have a shirt or shoes on.

@liquidblue1: As far as I have seen, we just don't get that kind of misbehavior here. We have a pretty high degree of civility in our city. It may be a bit dicier this year as they are predicting icy rain, and we are used to shirtsleeve weather pretty much year round. So while it's unlikely people are going to be shiving one another over the latest iCraze, there may be some crowding due to people wanting to get shelter from the elements.

The only thing I've found so far that I want is the limited edition Zelda: Skyward Sword with gold remote and CD that Walmart is going to have discounted by $10. Unfortunately it's one of the items that go on sale at 10PM on Thanksgiving. I'm sure it'll be all sold out by the time I get off work (11PM). Plus I'd still have to drive to the other town. Grrrr.

Costco. Hoping for no line, though.

I was literally shocked a couple of hours ago when I drove to the city for a couple of items I could only get at TJMaxx and found - EGAD - about 6 tents full of people in front of Best Buy. I have heard of that happening, but I have never seen it. BTW, isn't it a bit early yet? Of course, we are talking SWFL now - not too cold, but a bit rainy and going down to the mid 50's tonight.
